CONDITION: This painting is in excellent condition, but presently not mounted in a frame.
This portrait painting of a boy is well observed; It depicts a boy in a green jumper and long shorts reading a book or made be, could he be sketching?. There is a lovely cast shadow on the wall behind the boy.
It is not known who the subject is, but could be one of Archer’s nephews, as he didn’t have any children of his own.
