CONDITION: This watercolour is in good condition, but requires a little cleaning.
This gorgeous brightly coloured watercolour has not lost any of it’s luminescence despite it’s age.
The subject of this painting is a beach scene it may well have been in Guernsey, as it is known that Archer spent time there.
Two figures are seen splashing in the waves with possibly his dog featuring in the scene. There is a yacht on the horizon. Archer really captures the mood of a hot Summer day,
