Trees
A delightful little watercolour of countryside trees with possibly heather in the foreground. The painting is very subtly executed, so delicate in appearance, but really captures the mood of an early Autumn scene. The trees are slightly turning to an Autumnal golden colour.
It is quite evident that Archer enjoyed being outdoors as he has left numerous photographs and paintings illustrating many places.

INSCRIPTIONS: Inscribed with signature bottom right dated 1920.
CONDITION: The painting has very slight foxing, as does the board mount, the frame is very slightly chipped but in relatively good condition.
