PROVENANCE: Part of the private family collection, UK.
INSCRIPTIONS: Inscribed with Archer’s signature and date on the back of the painting.
CONDITION: The painting is presently unframed but is in excellent condition.
A delightful watercolour portrait. Archer has really captured the light falling on the ladies face and white lace bonnet.
Maybe the lady was known to Archer, was she his Grandmother?
