FRAME DIMENSIONS: 9″ x 6.75″ (22.5 cm x 17 cm)

PROVENANCE: Part of a private family collection, UK.

INSCRIPTIONS: Inscribed with signature bottom right and dated 1930

CONDITION: At present the painting is housed at sealed in it’s original gold frame which is slightly chipped. This watercolour is in good condition, but there are slight foxing marks on the board mount.

This may be a painting depicting Archer walking his dog in a nearby park among the talk trees in a nearby park on a sunny day.

Archer lived in Ickenham, Uxbridge after he was married, he often walked in Swakeleys Park, nowadays it is still a tranquil green space with a lake, walking paths, play areas, tennis courts & a landscaped garden.
